Hey Squirrel friends.
How is the new semester? Have you been busy? Don’t answer that, because I don’t care. As we have been busy ourselves.
Recently the University has reached out, and said; “We’d like to have you as a group back on campus”. And TA-DA, DiverseCity is now moving their address from Folkestedet to the University! How about that!
Ugh… How about All Stars 3?! It’s leaving me with some bittersweet taste in my mouth. I don’t really care who wins at this point – not because I have any favourites. But because it comes off as lackluster.
However I am excited for season 10!!!! March 22nd couldn’t arrive faster!
But anyways you are all here to know what DiverseCity is doing for March and not read my rambeling about RuPaul’s Drag Race – and how it fucked up drag #JasmineMasters
– March 6th: LGBT-talks. We have invited a lot of people to talk about their master thesis, since it is focused on LGBT. So be ready to have your head filled with LGBT knowledge!
– March 8th: Kvindemuseet has given DiverseCity a spot by the stand called “Solidarity across Gender and Sexuality”, which gives us an opportunity to reach out, but do come and let us celebrate women and go to Sappho later on for a beer.
– March 16th: With the luck of the Irish, we are taking over a bar duty from Sappho and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! So come wear green and have a green Brause shot!
– March 20th: I hear that Simone is starting a LGBT Film club up, so we will be watching the iconic 90’s movie “But I’m A Cheerleader”. It’s going to be good!
Hope for a fun March!!!
Over and Out
PS: Last month’s movie quote is from the iconic romantic 40’s movie “Casablanca”.
